The NFC issue hit the public in recent times and created in no uncertain terms great disquiet among
the the concerned citizens of the country.
The above sorry state of affairs is not new to UMNO which over the years has been so sensitived by its its leaders' blatant and widespread corrupt conduct that it is now taking these disgraceful occurences lightly as if they are lawful.
Many of these commissions were so blatant and obvious and the perpetrators managed to get away
scot-free through taking advantage of the judiciary system that operates under the thumb of the BN Government.
In fact, all the cronies of UMNO who were exposed to have abused their power and misappropriated public funds must stand down and resign from thir positions.
From my observation, most if not all government ministries, semi- and quasi-government authorities and GLOs have the bad habits of investing funds allotted to them by building their own buildings, A point in reference is the NFC which invested 10 millions riggits from the allocated 250 millions riggits in condominium insteading of channeling it to promoting and realising the objects for which the fund was alloted in the first place.
The other glaring case was the investment of 500 million sterling pounds which belong to the Malaysian workers in the purchase of properties in UK.
Besides, we can name many other corporations like MAS, EPF, PKNS, SOCSO etc did not realise why they were set up. They squandered the funds in properties and by so doing they tied down their funds and thereby affecting the oganisational liquidity.
Instead of spending the alloted money and profits for the social welfare of the people, they chose to spend on concrete and when they need money, they have to run to the Government for further injection of funds or to bail them out.
So coming back to the NCF, Sharizat must resign and face the public ire. She must liquidate the condo and channel back the money to the Treasury so that it can be utilised for more beneficial projects for the rakyat.

Still Talking About the NEP
It is most disconcerting that after more than 40 years since the introduction of the National Economic Policy, NEP, which initially and principally aimed at poverty eradication and redress of economic imbalance among the country poor; especially the Bumiputras and the Malays, we continue to hear leaders of today harp on its failure and urge the Government to continue with the Policy.
During this year, the non-Malays have been tolerant with the BN Giovernment controlled by UMNO which because of its racial and religious bigotry, avarice and corrupt proclivity haved caused great chasm among the various races and tribes in Malaysia.
Each time certain quarters complaind about the injustices caused by or rose from the NEP, they were accused of being racialistic and threatened with indefinite detention under the Internal Security Act. Any public protests or demonstrations were quelled by use of brute Police Force who spared no efforts in deploying water cannons and tear gas and arresting innocent particicipants.
Over the years, so much injustices had been perpetrated by the UMNO/BN Government that the process would taken years before it could be dismantled. Look at the bloated civil service where non-Malays form about 2%. 98% are Malays and Bumiputras.
Look at the primary and secondary sectors, they are already in the hands of the Malays. They inter-alia inlude the agricultural, timber, public transport, banking, petroleum etc. Besides, the GLCs are practicually 100% Malays dominated. They are supported by the Government perenially. Profits, they take but when they sustain losses, the Government will bail them out by pumping in more public funds.
Now the BN/UMNO Government embark on desparate projects like registrating illegal and legal foreign workers who are in the country. It has been reported that thus far since it was mooted, more than 2 million of them have been registered. It has further been reported that the BN/UMNO Government had the untoward intention of turning these registered foreigners into 'phantom voters' in the coming General Election. What about registering all those who have been staying in Malaysia before the 2nd World War? Until now, there thousands of them remain as non-citizens although they have contributed to the economic development and progress of the country through their hard work and investment of their savings in the various businesses throughout the cousntry.
The NEP has failed to achieve its desired results because it catered for the rich and oriented in the course to make UMNO cronies richer. The children of these elites have been awarded scholarships to study overseas while children of the Malay massses have to stay back to study in local public universities whose standards have aggravated to those of degree mills. As such, about 100 thousands of these local Malay graduates remain unemployed years after their graduation.
Until and unless the BN/UNMO ultras realise that what they do is fundamentally wrong and start to make amends, this country will continue to remain like any of the middle east countries that are now eembroiled in anti-Government protests in an effort to overthrow their respective corrupt and dictatorial leaders who care not for the welfare of the people. There is much Malayisa can learn from what has caused the prevalence of the Arab Spring?
Let us do what is right for the country fairly and justly without regards to religion, race, creed and political affiliation.

Articles adverse to DSAI have been proliferating in increasing intensity ever since the 2008 Tsunami General Election which saw in no uncertain term how the BN ugly heads were stumped into their filty collars.
The BN pride had been obviously and seriously dented and hurt; as such, we see all the UMNO ultraputras’ machineries are now bent and aimed at destroying the image of DSAI and PR before the next GE.
The rakyat are not blind to what had and have been taking place the past fifty years in the country. They know the evil scheming of the UMNO ultras to perpetuate their power at the expense of the other ethnic races in Malaysia by playing up the race and religion issues. Look at how the whole society had been subtly engineered. The non-Malays have been relegated to the status of pendatang or second class citizens. See the unfair race-based system of scholarship awards, awards or tenders, employment within the civil service, the inequitable distribution of national wealth to name a few.
One question recently posed to Dr MM as to what he had done to help improve the status of the so-called Malays? He had developed in them the obvious road and propensity to damnation. Through skillful manipulating of the NEP and the Education Policy, he had succeeded in giving birth to a new bleed of Malays whose leaders and their followers are corrupt, fraudulent, avaricious, self-fish, dishonest and belligerent. This can demonstrated by the way they squander the country resources by spending on non- essentials and items from which they could enrich their purses.
How long can these financial buccaneers going to be in power? Popular beliefs and views are rife they will go all out to stay in power regarding of whether the country is going to be bankrupt or not.
While speculation of the next GE is around the corner, officers are being sent out to corrupt the Malay voters in the rural areas particularly those government and semi-government servants who have been hounded at their work places and homes by these unscrupulous officers in an evil and devilish attempt to poison their minds and corrupt them into voting for UMNO at the next GE.
Cash and non-cash pledges have been offered with an intimidation that they are under CCTV and if they are found to be voting for parties other than UMNO, they would return to get back their dirty money. This also means that the election system is not fully confidential since the EC can identify who are those who voted for the opposition.
My fellow Malaysians, be careful that your voting slips are not being defaced and contaminated by any pencil marks at the back or anywhere on the voting slips.
UMNO can only thrive on its despicable deceitful and fear instilling methods of influencing the minds of the masses. They have been buying votes and corrupting the democratic system of government and this must stop. Only people’;s power can do that to remove them for the benefit of our children and future generations.
Be it known, none of the campaigns against DSAI and PR will affect the people’s determination to change the corrupt, deceitful and discriminatory government.

The Highly Unjustified TNB Tarrif Hike
The lame excuse of the BN Government to sanction the raise in the TNB tariff was most unjustified. What sort of subsidy did they reduce - the reduced preferential price of gas they accorded to the 20 odd Independent Power Producers!
Look at the profit of the IPPs and TNB; all of them made a lot of money from the rakyat - not less than 10% on the received revenue. Is that the subsidy the BN Government reward to the loyal hardworking citizens of Malaysia who had to bear for the corrupt, incompetent and spendthrig Government who only knew how to spend but fail to reward the people. No wonder your popularity has been waning over the years.
TNB is a GLC and therefore it has the social responsibility to ensure that the welfare of the people in the country are looked after in the face of rapidly increasing inflationary costs. But instead it saw fit to increase the profit margin of TNB despite the fact that they made close to RM4.5 billion when its financial year 2010 came to a close.
Look my friends and all - let us look at the bare facts of reality of the day. All the resources of the country look like are now in the hands of the UMNO cronies who control them through the briliant idea of Tun MM of privatisation - look at the fosillised oil in the hands of Petronas who saw fit to offer scholarships to foreign students than to the citizens of the country; water in the hands of SYABAS, telecommunications in the hands of Talikoms Malaysia; banks in the hands of the Maybank, CIMB, RHB, Bank Utama etc.; road-toll under the UEM Group of companies; MAS and Airasia under GLC and UMNO nominees; rail service under KTM Berhad; Postal Service under Post Malaysia Berhad; Palm oil under FELDA. Apart from these mentioned essential service sectors, many blue chips, like Sime Darby, UDA, MRCB, Pernas etc just to mention a few, fall under the control of Khazanah - the investment arm of UMNO. Besides, EPF, the supposed to be the custodian of the workers' hard earned savings has been looting and plundering them without conpunction. The Government is now using its money to invest in properties in UK. Recently, it spent up to 500 million pounds to purchase a property in UK which was reported to be capable of churnin around 6% returns per annum - a big deal. Perhaps in the course of time, some influential PEP would come alone and bought it for a song from EPF without the workers' representatives knowing.
All the money generating sectors are in the hands of the little Napoleons - the custom, police, defence, immigration, works and even labour have been milking money from the treasurer.
What sort of developmental benefits do we citizens derive? Very very minimal I must say. For the non-Malays, only of late we see our children being offered scholarships and the opportunities to study in the tertiary institutions - not many public universities but private institutions as could be seen from the recent 86 straight As students. Even then, a lot of negotiation efforts had been put in by the three sycophatic BN component parties. If every year you are going to go through this hassle, my question is why are you still hanging around. Do you idiots see that you are a spent force. you have lost your influence. If I were you, leave UMNO and fight for the rights of the people. You are going to let into the quagmire at the coming GE. So where there is still time, leave while you still have modicum of dignity left.

Blanding of Women
The term police brutality is blatantly being practiced by the Malaysian Royal Police Force - not only today but in yester-years as well. Making a woman strip while under its detention, compelling a woman to pee in a squating down and detainees died at the hands of the brutes while under detention. If this not police brutality, what is?
The Police may detain anyone if he has proof or evidence that he or she has committed a crime. In the country, we have in place the relevant laws to deal with a criminal - but certainly not the cow-blanding women as was reported in the media. By so doing, it did not respect the right, dignity and pride of a human being.
All personnel who are entrusted with the power of enforcement have this to remember; that is, they must abide by the Rule of Law as espoused in the Rukunegara.
It is up to the Police to show where in the law that empowers them to cow-bland a woman or women or for that matter any human being?
By so doing, the Policemen concerned really show the world what sort of people they are - they are no better than animals for inflicting on and doing such inhuman punishment on another human being.
In my view, the Policemen copncerned by so embroiling themselves in ignominious conduct brought disgrace to the country and this might have an impact on the Malaysian-People's Republic of China foreign relationship. I am sure the Chinese Government will react violently at the inhuman actions of the Malaysian Royal Police force.
What happens if this is happening to the relatives of these inflicting policemen concerned? Would they have kept quiet or react towards what another jurisdiction would have done to them?
How can the public ever respect the Police Force if its personnel are not civil and proud about the uniform that they put on? How can we have peace and harmony if the Force comprises personnel who are sadists and masochists or sado-masochists?
This matter must be taken up and debated at the Parliament. If need be, the Home Ministry must be held responsible for the irresponsible actions of these undesirable elements in the Police Force.

What Subsidy Reduction
Each time when the Government threatens to reduce “subsidies” in the face of impending decision and social disquiet to increase prices of petroleum products and other essential goods such as sugar, oil, cooking, rice etc. we find all sorts of irrational justification being advanced from some imbecilic senior politicians, economists and academicians. They try to paint such a gloomy picture about the huge subsidy that the Government is annually subsidising in bringing down or controlling an increase in the prices of these essential goods. They often try to compare our prices with neighboring developing countries without reference to the fact that the referred socio-economic conditions are so different from those in Malaysia.
Recent price hike of Gasoline 97 and sugar by 20 cents per litre and per kilogram was not good enough. Resulting from the increases, the price of Kopi-O has gone up overnight by as much as 20 cents per cup despite stern warning being given by the Domestic Trade, Co-operatives & Consumerism Ministry that action would be taken against recalcitrant traders. How long can the enforcing effort last? Soon the price increase would have been forgotten by the masses. After a while, they are reduced to toothless tiger.
Must the people be compelled to accept such subsidy reduction as proposed by the Government? And who are these economists and analysts who advocated for the removal of the subsidy? They do not really give you the reasons why such subsidies should be reduced, do they? One ridiculous BN politician even dared the Opposition to reduce the subsidy!
Why does not the Ministry concerned invite the rakyat to a public forum and debate? I am sure the Minister will learn more sense from the masses than from these academic economists and uninformed politicians.
The statement by one Prof Datuk Mohad Salleh of UTAR’s Bank Rakyat School of Business and Entrepreneurship that it would be unrealistic for the government to continue giving the subsidies. I just find that his statement is just as unrealistic and baseless as the unwarranted removal of the subsidy. He must realize any unnecessary and further inflation is likely to cause hardship to millions of low-income people in the country.
In my humblest of considered opinion, if only our government is prudent in its spending, there is no need to talk about subsidy removal or reduction. If the Finance Ministry is stringent and serious enough in guarding the national financial goal-post, our country would have saved more than RM100 billion a year which just vaporized before our eyes through fraud, corruption, tax-evasion, money-laundering and highly-inflated and bloated project and tender prices.
The Minister further reiterated that the huge amount spent on subsidies should go to financing projects that would benefit the people more, like poverty-eradication programmes and building homes for the people. How would the recent 500 Million Pound property purchase or investment in London ever benefit the people? If such allocation had reached the masses, the Malays would not have voted against them!
The advocates fail to realize that Malaysia is an oil producing country and is endowed with various natural resources. When the price of crude and commodities goes up, it means more revenue to the country! This would certainly be sufficient revenue to provide for and offset whatever subsidy that the government has budgeted each year.
There is no need in my view for the government to think of squeezing blood out of the marrow of the rakyat for the benefit of its cronies. It is time that she learns how to tighten her belt and bring in more revenue from its exports, overseas investments and services. It is time that the GLCs have to move their asses and go forward and compete in the global market to bring in more revenue to the country rather than taxing the people to feed and featherbed the UMNO cronies and bailing out the ill-performed GLCs.
Malaysia is rich enough for every body if only the government exercises due prudence in its budgeting, project planning and expenditure.
First on the list is the government must take a serious and genuine effort to eradicate fraud and corruption. Secondly, she must stop the practice of awarding infrastructural projects at incredulously bloated prices. Thirdly. the NEP must be abolished in favour of the highly proposed meritorious socio-economic policies for the people regardless of race, religion, creed and political affiliation. Fourthly, recruitment for the civil service must be put on hold for the time being in an effort to address the preponderant racial imbalance. Fifthly, enforcement and implementation of government policies and programmes must be adequately supervised by the respective Ministers. Sixthly, efforts must be made to restore the dignity of the judiciary, police and military. Seventhly, all public universities must address and arrest their declining standards and ensure that proffered courses meet the industrial needs and the industrial expansion programmes of the government.
Unless the above actions are taken, UMNO will be doomed in the next election. You can come out with beautiful slogans but you do not walk the talk. Insincerity, furtiveness and deception are your style of government. The masses are just fed up of you. So know when to exit gracefully.

How would the recent 500 Million Pound property purchase or investment in London ever benefit the people? If such allocation had reached the masses, the Malays would not have voted against them!
The advocates fail to realize that Malaysia is an oil producing country and is endowed with various natural resources. When the price of crude and commodities goes up, it means more revenue to the country! This would certainly be sufficient revenue to provide for and offset whatever subsidy that the government has budgeted each year.
There is no need in my view for the government to think of squeezing blood out of the marrow of the rakyat for the benefit of its cronies. It is time that she learns how to tighten her belt and bring in more revenue from its exports, overseas investments and services. It is time that the GLCs have to move their asses and go forward and compete in the global market to bring in more revenue to the country rather than taxing the people to feed and featherbed the UMNO cronies and bailing out the ill-performed GLCs.
Malaysia is rich enough for every body if only the government exercises due prudence in its budgeting, project planning and expenditure.
First on the list is the government must take a serious and genuine effort to eradicate fraud and corruption. Secondly, she must stop the practice of awarding infrastructural projects at incredulously bloated prices. Thirdly. the NEP must be abolished in favour of the highly proposed meritorious socio-economic policies for the people regardless of race, religion, creed and political affiliation. Fourthly, recruitment for the civil service must be put on hold for the time being in an effort to address the preponderant racial imbalance. Fifthly, enforcement and implementation of government policies and programmes must be adequately supervised by the respective Ministers. Sixthly, efforts must be made to restore the dignity of the judiciary, police and military. Seventhly, all public universities must address and arrest their declining standards and ensure that proffered courses meet the industrial needs and the industrial expansion programmes of the government.
Unless the above actions are taken, UMNO will be doomed in the next election. You can come out with beautiful slogans but you do not walk the talk. Insincerity, furtiveness and deception are your style of government. The masses are just fed up of you. So know when to exit gracefully.
You can deceive some people some of the time, some of the people all the time but not all the people all the time., Period.

Stop Stoking the Racial-Religious Card
The blog posted by BG (Retired) Mohd Arshad Raji calling the Minister of Home Affairs to take not only mean, serious but also strong action against Utusan Melayu (UM) for putting up recently the inflammatory, irresponsible and unconscionable article that the Opposition was colluding with the DAP to form a Government headed by a Christian PM and implicate that the constitution would be change to convert Malaysia into a Christian State.
The Editorial Board of UM should be given a stern show cause letter as to why disciplinary action should not be taken against them for deeming it fit to print the article knowing fairly well that it was not true and that it was based on hearsay and lies. If they were found guilty, the legal process must take its place to dismiss them and that the publication license shall be suspended for at least a year to show that the Government is serious in wanting to build or encourage to build a united, harmonious and peaceful nation among the all citizens of Malaysia regardless of their racial origin, religious background and beliefs.
As a national daily, Utusan Melayu has a great responsibility to ensure that what it reports is true based on facts and not based on irresponsible pro-UMNO bloggers like the Bigdog.com and Marahku.com
If I may add to what BG (R) Mohd Arshad that the Editorial Members of UM perhaps were too young to know what happened on May 13, 1969 and its aftermath that immeasurably had contributed to the socio-economic situation with which the country is facing today. Hundred of innocent lives were killed during the riot. Bodies were seen floating down the Klang River while many properties were torched, looted and gutted. With the curfew in place, many households had to tighten their belts since food were scarce and many could not go to the markets to buy their daily provisions. For months and years on end thereafter, the one-time peaceful and harmonious multi-racial setting in country had been disrupted and undermined. With the UMNO politicians continuing to stoke the racial-religious issues, they have caused greater divide among the people of Malaysia.
Don’t the UMNO ultra-putras have any iota shame about creating and causing a bad reputation for the country through their incessant imbecile and inane acts of racial and religious divisionism. By just going back the last twelve months, we witnessed and saw in place the Sodomy I & II episodes, the incriminating sex-video in TV3 probably engineered by the trievillate, the Alkitab issue and now the article attempting to cause a divide between the Muslims and Christians in Malaysia. This merely shows the blatant mental bankruptcy of UMNO leadership which seriously reflects badly on the competence and capability of the PM. And honestly, I am appalled at the silly and lame excuse of the Minister of Home Affairs – he is just not fit to be there since he is always afraid to make decision and when so confronted is seen to pander to these UMNO extremists.
Instead of putting the national resources to greater use and benefit, the UMNOputras continue to delve on projects that do not provide better socio-economic welfare and benefit to the people at large. They continue to dig their itchy fingers into the till of EPF and invest in properties in UK in anticipation of a meager returns for the workers of Malaysia. Besides, workers representatives were not consulted. How many people will remember that EPF owns such a such property in UK? Building universities, transport infrastructure, excavating treasures in the Malacca Straits, offering scholarships to foreigners in preference to amply qualified locals, granting citizenship to migrants from neighbouring countries, offering employments to foreigners, etc.
Look at the proposed MRT plan. I would have thought that the authority would have seen it fit by now to link the highly populous areas between KL and Subang – from Kampung Harun, all the villages along Old Klang Road, Taman Sentosa, Overseas Union Garden, Taman Desa, Taman Se-puteh to Chan Sow Lin Station via the Sungei Besi Airport which is going to be developed for the peoples enjoyment in the near future! The planners are more concerned with lining their pockets rather than to see the people of Old Klang Road enjoying the taxes that they pay over the past 60 years or so. We have been patient enough.
The Christians will never do a thing like what the Utusan Melayu portrayed. We are sensible and sensitive. Are you?
I am also appalled at the inertia of the Muslim clerics for not chastising their followers for doing such an evil and ignominious act which could have caused a greater division between the Muslims and Christians and if not checked may result in the whole country flaring up into a religio-racial conflagration.
The People of the Book – why are you doing these dastard and sinful things that divide rather than integrate? It is either that you do not know or pretend to know what is contained in their respective books or never attempt to look at them from day one. No wonder, there is so much trouble, disputes and killings and miseries in the world because people just do not know their religious teaching enough to appreciate what is harmony, unity and peace.
At the rate things are going on, the socio-economic situation of Malaysia will turn for the worse before it ever gets better. A model of racial tolerance so our leaders brag to our overseas dignitaries – my answer to that is bull shit for you just do not walk your talk. It is sheer hypocracies.
To create a united, peaceful and harmonious country, it takes all in the country to play a part. Malays cannot blame anyone for their backwardness. You are the one to blame for not seeing the signs of time of the bigoted government which lacks expertise, brain and competence; besides they lack self-esteem and is embarking on ostentatious projects that tend to enrich their pockets and not the rakyat. There is nothing to fear. There is enough for everyone in the country. So for heaven sake, take care of your people first and your pocket last and not the other way. You are killing the country’s golden goose.
