STUDENTS IN PEACEFUL ASSEMBLY ASSAULTED.

It is so disconcerting and disappointing to learn that the students who protested at the Dataran Merdeka were beaten up by the night riders and raiders in black with masks on at 2.30 am this morning and destroyed all the tents put up by the students to demonstrate their noble message to persuade the UMNO/BN Government to accord free tertiary education to all students accepted into the public universities.

The bad news is that the policemen who were present in the vicinity did not lift a finger  bad to assist. It gives the bad impression that the raid had the knowledge and sanction of the Police.

The 100 or more  students who participated in the demonstration stood their ground firmly, refused to be provoked and retaliate against the barbaric raid and assault mounted and descended on them by these gangsteristic night raiders. My hat off to you students for your moral courage. Your peaceful demonstration has spoken loud and clear.

The students have their reasons for the demand seeing flagrant excesses of the corrupt politicians squandering without conscience  the resources of the nation to the gradual but insidious socio-economic impoverishment and degradation of the future children and generations of the rakyat.

What the UMNO leaders are doing are no different from those leaders in the Middle East countries.  Their deplorable conduct has led to the Arab Spring.  These leaders have traits in common – tyrannical, dictatorial, corrupt, merciless, selfish and arrogant. Malaysia cannot progress without these leaders around.  Hence, they must face the wrath of the rakyat in the coming GE 13.

If the quota of RM100.0 billion is retained and prevented from illicit exit from the country, the country will not be so hard-pressed with so many social and economic ills arising from the blatant corrupt propensity of the politicians. If this amount is utilized properly for the commonwealth of the rakyat, this country need not have problems with its education, health and housing programmes.. The rakyat need not have to stay in match-boxed flatlets.

The public must condemn the barbaric actions of these anti-social elements who are out to create fear and disorder in the country.  This gangsters were probably the same guys who  disrupt conferences, public talks and protests.  This gives the Government to act otherwise against those who are doing their best for the nation.  This has to stop.  We cannot allow them to torch places of worship and cause huru-hara and  hara-kiri in the country.
